Who we are

Sable North is the publishing pen name of an independent author based in the European Union. The data controller can be contacted at hello@sablenorth.com.

What we collect

We collect the email address you voluntarily submit through the sign-up form on this site, together with the variant of the landing page you signed up from (used only to understand which sample chapter converted best). We also collect basic, aggregated analytics — page views and ad-attribution events via the Meta Pixel — which may involve cookies or similar technologies.

Why we collect it

Your email is used solely to send you release news, launch pricing, and the bonus scene promised at sign-up — roughly one to two emails per month until the book launches.

Lawful basis

We rely on your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given by ticking the consent box on the sign-up form. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in any email or by contacting us.

Where your data is stored

Email addresses are stored with our email service provider (to be named here once finalised). Our provider may process data outside the EU under standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority. Email hello@sablenorth.com for any of these.

Cookies & tracking

This site uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure ad performance. If you are located in the EU/EEA, the pixel only fires after you accept it via the cookie notice.
